We love it when couples pick a location that is special or sentimental to them in some way! We can also help you decide on a location. Lighting & backgrounds are very important so keep that in mind!
We normally suggest booking your engagement session about 2-3 months in advance of your wedding day at a minimum. Do not wait until the last minute because you will have plenty on your mind as your big day approaches.
The team typically arrives 2-3 hours before the ceremony to capture getting ready of the couple, as well as any details such as the dress, shoes, rings, and flowers. Any portraits before the main event.
If the couple has chosen to do a first look, this is usually done 1-2 hours before the ceremony. This is a great opportunity for the photographer to capture some intimate and romantic shots of the couple alone.
The team will typically move on to taking imagery of the bridal party. This includes shots of the couples people, such as the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and any other family members or friends who are part of the wedding party.
During the ceremony, the team will capture key moments such as the bride walking down the aisle, the exchange of vows and rings, and the first kiss.
The team will typically take formal family portraits. It's important to create a shot list beforehand to ensure that all the necessary family members are included.
Some of the team will document the cocktail hour and the guests mingling. We love getting the couple to cocktail hour and letting you enjoy your day.
During the reception, the team will float around to capture shots of the guests, decor, speeches, first dance, and other important moments throughout the night.
If the couple is doing a formal exit, such as a sparkler send-off, late night snack, or surprises, the team will typically stick around to capture those final shots.
We love capturing all the minute little details you’ve chosen to be a part of your very special wedding day! Once we arrive at your location ,we take about an hour to capture final getting ready moments and style the details. We highly recommend choosing a getting ready location that has natural soft lighting and keeping the area clean of food & trash.
It would be best if you can put all of your rings, jewelry, shoes, veil, purse, perfume, accessories, invitations and anything you want documented separately in one spot for us. Unwrap your dress or attire so that we can document it as well, don’t worry about styling it – we’ll put it in the best place! And don’t forget a nice wood or metal hanger for your dress. Plastic one’s are just not cool.

We will choose a location with plenty of natural light to capture the sparkle and shine of the rings. We try to avoid using harsh, direct sunlight which can create harsh shadows. We aim to choose a simple, uncluttered background that won't distract from the rings. We can use props from the space or architecture from the venue or flowers from the wedding and invitations to add some interest.
CLEAN & POLISH YOUR RINGS
SET THEM OUT SEPARATELY FOR us
DEDICATE ONE PERSON TO hold THEM
First looks are a great way to take a breather before the craziness of your ceremony begins. The imagery captures you and your partner in a quiet sweet moment before the wedding. This is the moment when you first see each other and you can get it all caught on camera. We highly recommend opting for a first look. We promise you won't regret it!
This is when we take group shots of your wedding party, including the bridesmaids and groomsmen, as well as any flower girls, ring bearers, or ushers. Be creative and have fun with the poses. We will capture candid moments with your wedding party, such as laughter, hugs, and special moments. These photos can be some of the most memorable.
Family wedding photos are an important part of capturing memories from your special day.
Create a list: Before the wedding day, make a list of all the family photos you want to take. Include immediate family members & any other important family members.
Assign a liaison: Assign a family member or close friend to be your family liaison. This person can help gather family members for the photos.
Communicate with your photographer and team: Share your list of family photos with us. We can help you ensure that everyone is in the right place at the right time.
Choosing a location: Select a location that provides a nice background and lighting for the photos or a location that has sentimental value to your family.
Be patient: Taking family photos can be a bit chaotic, so be patient and flexible. Remember to enjoy the moment and have fun with your family.
We will take a photo of the ceremony venue before guests arrive. This will capture the ambiance and decor of the space and will provide a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony photos. We will be sure to capture photos of the couple, wedding party, and escorts walking down the aisle. This is an important moment and should be captured from multiple angles. Capturing your faces as you see each other walking down the aisle is sooo important. This is often an emotional moment that the couple will want to remember forever. Remember to work closely with your team to ensure that you get all the shots you want and that the photos capture the unique personality of your wedding ceremony.
Reception shots are just as important as ceremony as they capture the fun and excitement of the celebration. Remember to work closely with your creative team to ensure that you get all the shots you want and that capture the unique personality of your reception.
